We would love to share some exciting news with you!
This year we will be adding to the services we currently offer, which includes:
* A brand new website which will introduce a wider range of products and services, to ensure we can always find a solution to your print and marketing requirements.
* Further investment in plant and machinery that will enable us to extend the number of products on our next day delivery service.
* Special offers and promotions!
To highlight these changes, our design team have been working hard on re-designing a clean, modern and streamlined version of our current logo. We wanted to share an exclusive sneak peek of our new logo with you, as you may start to see it being used ahead of our official April 2018 re-launch.
What do you think of our new logo? We love how fresh, clean & modern it looks!
We were delighted to work with The Melbreak Country House Hotel on the logo for The Conservatory restaurant. Caroline got in touch to discuss the project with us, specifying that she would like a clean, modern design using a selection of colours that they had incorporated into the refurbishment of the restaurant. Our designers put together a selection of ideas, the strongest being the chosen design which utilises a hand drawn script typeface combined with a modern sans serif.
Of course, the logo has to work in both black and white as well as colour so this is always something to consider when designing a logo. It’s also important that it is all legible on a smaller scale, for when the logo is used on items such as order pads and even printed promotional items such as pens.
Caroline was delighted with the final result, the restaurant is currently preparing for their official launch and we hope it all goes well! Be sure to check it out if you are in the area.
If you need a logo for your business, or you’re considering a rebrand, get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!
We recently worked with John Bailey on a re-design for the West Cumbria Credit Union logo. We designed their original logo many years ago for ‘Allerdale Credit Union’, the name has since changed to ‘West Cumbria Credit Union’ so they felt it was time for a re-brand and a logo re-design.
John wanted an instantly recognisable logo, incorporating the fells and water to represent the Lake District. Daniel was working on this project and after much consideration he opted for an outline of Blencathra Saddleback, utilising green and blue shades to represent the fells and water. He selected a clean, modern typeface, adding a touch of italics to ‘West’ to add emphasis.
John wanted to include the website address within the logo, so we added that underneath and we added round corners to the whole logo to soften the look.
John and the team were really pleased with the final logo, it will be used online as well as on all printed promotional material. He tweeted about the project, saying “15 years working with Firpress and they still compete on cost, give top quality advice and deliver on time. First Class visuals … always!”
We were delighted to be asked to design a logo to celebrate Impact’s 40th Anniversary. After an initial brainstorm of logo concepts, we decided to incorporate a ruby style gem into the design, to celebrate the ’40 years’. We also brought the ruby red colouring into the Impact logo itself. The text ’40th Anniversary’ was also watermarked into the map graphic as a finishing touch.
Lisa and the team at Impact were thrilled with the final design and have been using it on all of their promotional material.
