Kerri Black
Finance Director
Kerri runs our Finance, HR & Personnel Departments and also oversees our ISO Quality Assurance Standard. She is an ATT experienced Accounting Technician who is highly organised and effective! Her friendly face is not often seen by many customers but Kerri is always more than happy to help out in any way she can.

Paul Williamson
Sales Director
Need a price? Or just some advice? Paul is your man. A time served printer with over 30 years experience, he’s our very own master in the trade with knowledge of all things print! Dawn McKeating
Finance & Compliance Officer
Dawn will be your first point of contact and will be happy to initially assist you with any enquiries you may have. Dawn will oversee all our Quality Assurance to ensure our we retain our ISO accreditation so that our customers always receive the best quality items.

Steph Malkinson
Studio Manager
Steph graduated from the University of Cumbria in 2007. She previously worked as in-house designer for international outdoor sports retailer Ski Warehouse. Steph joined the Firpress team in 2010, her specialities include leaflets, posters, brochures & wedding stationery. She’s also in charge of our website & social media.

Christie Cape
Graphic Designer
Christie graduated from the University of Cumbria in November 2015. Since joining us in January 2015, she has really shown her worth, creating lots of eye-catching artwork. She’s a really fun, bright and bubbly designer, who enjoys designing menus, logo design, brochures and leaflets.

Jess Thompson-Gray
Graphic Designer
Jess is our newest recruit, joining us in September 2019. She’s a fun, creative & talented in both graphic design & illustration. Jess enjoys working on posters, leaflets and also stationery design for corporate events.We can’t wait to show you what she can do!

Lewis Winthrop
Junior Graphic Designer
Lewis joined us in July 2019. This is his first design role and he has already created some amazing artwork! Lewis enjoys working on a wide variety of projects, he is extremely talented and we cannot wait for you to see what he can do! So far Lewis has been working on leaflets, stationery & invitations but he is looking forward to a good design challenge!

Robert Smith
Production Manager
Rob is our production manager and runs both our RYOBI colour presses. He has over 26 years of experience in the printing industry and prides himself in his work! From letterheads to a brochure, his meticulous attention to detail will ensure that the colours on your print job look perfect.

Robert Pickering
Finishing Department
Master of the guillotine, Bobby will trim all your work to size and prepare it for scoring folding & finishing. Bobby is our longest standing employee, having been with Firpress since the day the doors opened back in 1985! In his safe hands your printed work will be finished to the highest of standards.

Claire Miller
Finishing Department
Claire will work her magic on your printing, taking flat sheets and transforming them into folded leaflets and multi page brochures. She’s fun & bubbly and always has a smile as she works. Your printing will be finished to the highest of standards and then packaged with care, ready for delivery.

Finn Black
Office Pet
Kerri’s Border Collie ‘Finn’ likes to boost morale, greeting staff daily with a paw or sloppy wet kisses….especially those who will give him a treat! He can sometimes be seen in our reception with his paws up on the counter to say Hello to customers! He also acts as security….none shall pass without his permission!
