Job Vacancy: Litho Printer

We are looking for a talented printer to become an integral part of our ‘Firpress Team’

Firpress Printers are the only quality assured printer in West Cumbria and have been providing quality print and design services for over 30 years.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion and drive for litho print, be able to use their own initiative and work effectively alongside our existing team. Your role will be to make ready and litho print using our B2 Four Colour Ryobi 784 and Two Colour Ryobi 522 presses.

•   Litho print experience

•   A passion for print

•   Excellent attention to detail

•   Good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines

•   Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Full time position: 37 ½ hours a week. Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion and a creative flair for design, be able to use their own initiative and work effectively alongside our existing team.
Your projects will include: logo design, invitations, posters, brochures, business stationery, menus, leaflets, banners, exhibition displays, wedding stationery and much more!

Required Skills:

  • BA Hons in Graphic Design desired (minimum qualification HND in Graphic Design)
  • Working experience of the Adobe Suite including Indesign, Photoshop & Illustrator.
  • A passion for design.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing directly with customers.
  • Good organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

35 hours per week. Salary dependent on qualifications & experience
